at orangepolitics.org. The Chapel Hill/Carrboro lefties are all atwitter about equal access to the internet. What does that mean?
Everybody already has equal access to the internet. You just have to
buy a computer and pay for it. OK, so if Chapel Hill offers “free”
Wi-Fi, will that empower the homeless and others who don’t have the
wherewithal to buy Trek bikes and Volvos? Presumably, they don’t have
laptops either. So, is the town going to then purchase them for these
disadvantaged citizens. I’m sure that’s the next step in this “equal
access” campaign. It’s the foot-in-the-door,
camel’s-nose-under-the-tent ploy so well-used in communities such as

Chapel Hill and Cah-boro.
