Debate on the economic incentives bill (H1973) continued on in the House just moments ago. The latest version has taken out the Yadkin River Trust (kudos), but still includes film and wood chipper credits among other things.
However, the bill also includes funding for DNA on Arrest (H1403). Why would these funds be included, when the DNA bill hasn’t even passed?
The compromise bill between the House and Senate passed 72-35, bi-partisan on both sides.
