Friedland wants “an intensive review” of any evidence linking Marion Gales to the murder of Kim Thomas in 1990. Friedland argues that Gales’ arrest on murder charges stemming from a homicide in April demands such a course of action.
I think he is right. But I seriously doubt it happens.
Bonus Observation: Sigh. The Uptown paper of record makes another error, IDing Friedland as a Charlotte resident. He lives in Florida now, Pensacola I believe. The paper has reported this several times over the years.
