My colleague, Terry Stoops, wrote a great newsletter highlighting some of the Governor’s plans for k-12 education. In addition to K-12 education, the Governor addresses many issues in the UNC System and Community Colleges as well. Here are the highlights from his budget regarding all forms of education. Unfortunately, there was not any reference to Opportunity Scholarships. JLF’s alternative budget will be sure to include that for the many families across North Carolina needing school choice.
