Carolina Journal executive editor Don Carrington raised the first questions about circumstances surrounding a property sale near former U.S. Sen. John Edwards’ Orange County home. Carrington’s report drew attention from the Rush Limbaugh show, along with other national pundits and Fox News’ daily “Political Grapevine.” Carrington also discussed the story with Bill LuMaye on WPTF Radio’s afternoon drive-time show (adding commentary on the Global Transpark and the Randy Parton Theatre for good measure). Meanwhile, John Locke Foundation president John Hood’s observations about Edwards’ political tactics continued to attract national attention.
