Some people like math because it deals with questions for which there are correct and incorrect answers. There is a satisfaction in solving a problem and being able to repeatedly demonstrate the correct solution has been found.

Then there is the subject of arbitrary regulation. For example, who should control alcohol sales on Cherokee tribal lands? The Cherokees are a sovereign nation, but the state makes no provision for alcohol control but by its own agents. Cherokee leaders are hoping to shuffle enough papers to gain exclusive control over alcohol sales and avoid the need for redundant permits.
