Today, the media is covering the report city council received last night pertaining to the evidence room audit. Most are supportive of the mayor’s exclamations that the disorder was “appalling.” My favorite comment today came from Pete Kaliner on WWNC 570AM. He noted whoever was in charge of the evidence room certainly didn’t suffer from OC disorder. Maybe I have a soft spot in my heart for fellow slobs, or maybe I am embracing the lessons of my public education instructors who stressed the need to tolerate different cognitive styles. In what is admittedly a minority view, I don’t believe enough data is available to the public to reach a lot of conclusions I’ve been hearing without jumping.
