WRAL reports the Chapel Hill town council will hear a proposal to ban leaf blowers.
As the sponsor of the idea says,
“All they do is move leaves, dirt and dust from one place to another … They don’t subtract it from the environment; they just move it around.”
Oh, you mean like rakes and brooms?
My physics classes always said you don’t destroy matter [i.e. take it from the environment], you only convert it to energy.
I don’t think Chapel Hill wants folks to start burning leaves [i.e. converting them from matter to heat, light, and hydrocarbons] … do they?
