In today’s Pope Center article Jenna Ashley Robinson takes a look at a program at Wake Forest that is designed to encourage student political activism. She thinks it’s a bad idea because few college students are knowledgeable enough to make sound political judgments.

I couldn’t agree more. Most college students are suckers for political ideas that seem well-intentioned. They don’t have the ability to think through the consequences of “feel good” interventionist policies.

Most adults don’t either, but that’s beside the point here.
