Environmental Defense, with its $35 million in annual revenues,
rallied its troops to oppose anti-eminent domain ballot initiatives in
four states. It should also be noted that the North Carolina
Legislative Global Climate Commission is in large part a wholly owned
subsidiary of ED. The co-chair of the commission, John Garrou, is on
the board of ED with ED’s regional director and several other members
of various ED boards on the commission. Here is what the group sent out
