Having lost a family member to a crippling asthma attack, I find it astounding that feeling good about the planet trumps the need for people to breathe and fend off asthma attacks. Two people who are afflicted with asthma have told me the inhalers that are left are not nearly as effective. From National Journal:
The only over-the-counter asthma inhaler sold in the United States will no longer be available next year as part of an international agreement to stop the use of substances that damage the environment, the Food and Drug Administration said on Wednesday.
