The in-the-tank-for-Obama media is so shameless these days that even Democrats and washed-up MSM hacks are noticing. First, Kirsten Powers, Democratic strategist and columnist:
Again the media showed their incredible bias by giving scattered coverage of Biden’s statements.
There were a few exceptions. On MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” co-host Mika Brzezinski flipped incredulously through the papers, expressing shock at the lack of coverage of Biden’s remarks. Guest Dan Rather admitted that if Palin had said it, the media would be going nuts.
And then there’s Dan Rather, usually a reliable media apologist, speaking to Joe Scarborough on ABC’s “Morning Joe”:
Well I think the point is well taken, Joe, that certainly if Sarah Palin had said this it would be above the fold in most newspapers today. … if Sarah Palin had said this, the newspapers would have jumped all over it and so would have the major television outlets.
And, finally, Sarah Palin points out to a CNN reporter that she would have been pilloried if she’d said something as stupid as Joe Biden’s comments on the coming international test for Obama. Be sure to watch the reporter’s reaction to her assertion.
