The John William Pope Foundation and the Jesse Helms Center are co-hosting a foreign policy symposium this Friday, May 11, 2018, from 12:00 – 9:00pm at the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley. This event is ticketed featuring Sen. Richard Burr, Sen. Thom Tillis, Rep. David Rouzer, Rep. George Holding, U.S. Deputy Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette, former Amb. James P. Cain, and others. The event is open to the public.

Elected officials, thought leaders, and a Trump administration energy official will take part in the symposium. The event will provide an opportunity for our state’s leaders and national policy makers to discuss the current foreign policy, trade, and energy landscape in an open forum. 1:45 pm: America’s Energy Future panel discussion with energy experts

3:15 pm: National Security panel discussion with security experts

4:30 pm: International Trade panel discussion with Rep. George Holding and trade experts

7:00 pm: Dinner with Sen. Tillis and former Amb. James P. Cain
