Watch the recorded live stream below!

Perhaps no sector of the economy has undergone as much change during the coronavirus outbreak as the U.S. health care system. Hospitals and providers stopped most elective procedures and directed most resources to preparing for and treating patients with COVID-19. To meet the emergency, some regulations that have governed the practice of medicine for years were unilaterally waived by governors and the federal government. As we look to the future, we must learn from the COVID-19 experience and take prudent action. The game plan for a Carolina Rebound must include an embrace of new ideas and health care innovations. In this virtual town hall discussion, our experts will look at how we better prepare ourselves for another COVID-like event, how we ensure health care is accessible to everyone regardless of location or income, the best path for restoring the doctor-patient relationship, and a plan for creating a more functional health care system for every North Carolinian.
