As our country faces four years of expensive and misguided government-first policies emanating from a Washington, D.C. dominated by progressives, defenders of freedom and free markets are faced with our biggest challenge in many years. Where does conservatism go from here? We’re honored to join with National Review Institute to discuss the road ahead, the principles that have made our nation a beacon of hope, the opportunities for states like North Carolina to lead the way and inform the debate, and the role each of us plays in the defense of liberty and constitutional government.

We are North Carolina’s Most Trusted and Influential Source of Common Sense. The John Locke Foundation was created in 1990 as an independent, nonprofit think tank that would work “for truth, for freedom, and for the future of North Carolina.” The Foundation is named for John Locke (1632-1704), an English philosopher whose writings inspired Thomas Jefferson and the other Founders.
