Rising crime rates in recent years are prompting some observers to examine the role of progressive district attorneys. In the name of reform, these DAs re refusing to prosecute certain types of crime. Critics say the shift in focus is generating negative unintended consequences. This edition of the Shaftesbury Society will highlight the impact of the progressive approach toward prosecution.
