State and national issues capture our attention, and they should. But the pandemic has reminded us that policy decisions made by local officials have a big and direct impact on our daily lives and on our families. That means getting active in our cities and counties is vital to ensuring that our rights as parents, business owners, and taxpayers are defended and advanced. In this conversation, we’ll talk with four people who are leading the way in the local arena through active engagement in local issues. We’ll find out what motivates them and how their work is impacting the decisions being made by elected officials. We’ll also get their thoughts on emerging local issues we should keep our eyes on, and how others can get involved to make a tangible difference.
