On April 12, 1776, North Carolina’s Fourth Provincial Congress unanimously adopted the Halifax Resolves—the first official call for independence from Great Britain by any of the thirteen colonies. Join us for a luncheon commemorating the 250th anniversary of this historic milestone, featuring a lecture by Donald Bryson, CEO of the John Locke Foundation, and Bob Rosser, NC250 Coordinator for the John Locke Foundation.
