Growth always brings problems as well as benefits. As the Triangle grows — which seems inevitable — traffic congestion will soon reach unacceptable levels. In this presentation, John Staddon will review how other communities have dealt with this problem and what we can learn from them. He will also address two key questions: (1) Should rail be part of the solution? (2) How should it be paid for?
