I don’t want poor people to suffer. That is why I don’t want them becoming increasingly dependent on government for what they could do for themselves. If you disagree, maybe you would like to attend a presentation on why the federal government (that which George Washington compared to a fire and I dare say has evolved into a raging fire) needs to involve itself in bodily functions.
P.S. You will probably say that was an ignorant comment. The government does not want to run the healthcare sixth of the economy. It only wants to manage it by controlling insurance plans. If that is your stance, then I shall say I don’t think the government should be skimming profits off others’ involvement in bodily functions.
