Here are the results of CNN’s North Carolina exit polls for your dining and dancing pleasure.

As John notes, you can slice these all kinds of ways, but a couple things jump out:

– The only income group Kerry carried was $30K and below.

– Bush won self-described independents with 56 percent.

– The “moderate” vote split right down the middle.

– Only 36 percent of voters call themselves born-again.

– Kerry only won 54 percent of “not so good” economy votes.

– Bush’s best community was suburbs, better than small towns or rural.

– Bush carried every region except Raleigh/Durham.
