President John Hood offered the Charlotte Observer comments about the importance of this year’s elections. The WCNC Television website picked up the Observer‘s story. N.C. Senate Republicans promoted Hood’s column discussing the meaning of political choices, then followed up by highlighting Hood’s analysis of primary results. (Senate Republicans also highlighted Carolina Journal Associate Editor Sara Burrowsexclusive previewing the District 47 GOP primary.) Hood also joined WPTF host Bill LuMaye for an election-day interview, then returned to WPTF in the evening for election analysis. JLF communications director Mitch Kokai served as a panelist for WNCN’s televised debate among 4th District Republican congressional candidates, then offered election-night commentary for News 14 Carolina.
