Thursday morning, Jon Sanders’ investigative work resulted in
revelations posted in “The Locker Room”
about a former NC State
professor’s comments to a Howard University audience that white people
should be
exterminated. That’s right – exterminated. The vicious
comments came from Kamau Kambon who, at an Oct. 14 forum at Howard
shown on C-SPAN, spewed hate when discussing what he sees as the plight of
African-Americans. Kambon’s comments included: “Now
how do I know that the white people know that we are going to come up
with a solution to the problem. I know it because they have retina
scans, they have what they call racial profiling, DNA banks, and
they’re monitoring our people to try to prevent the one person from
coming up with the one idea. And the one idea is, how we are going to
exterminate white people because that in my estimation is the only
conclusion I have come to. We have to exterminate white people off the
face of the planet to solve this problem.”

By Thursday afternoon,
two talk show hosts had invited Sanders to appear: WPTF’s Bill LuMaye
and WWNC’s Matt Mittan. Friday morning, Sanders published a Carolina Journal Exclusive about Kambon. The topic went national when UNC-Wilmington
Professor Mike Adams discussed Kambon in his Friday townhall.com column. By the afternoon, roughly 40 national blogs and web sites were
commenting and linking to CJ. They include powerhouses
lucianne.com and polipundit.com. National radio host Neal Boortz talked
about Kambon on his Friday show. Back in North
Carolina, NBC 17’s “At Issue” will feature a discussion Sunday at 11
a.m. even though Kambon, a Triangle resident, denied a request to
appear on the show. Read the CJ Exclusive here. Links to video of
Kambon’s remarks are included. Selected audio clips are here. Friday afternoon, NC State released a statement denouncing Kambon’s remarks.
