Both UNCG and N.C. A&T are bracing faculty members for significant job cuts after the UNC board’s finance committee signed off on system president Erskine Bowles’ budget.
The N&R article didn’t mention Bowles’ statement to the board that “(i)f you have 20 percent budget cuts, you’ll have to think about closing down campuses. Period.”
