Mike Huckabee may be gaining ground in Iowa, but supporters of one of his big ideas have been stumbling, according to Marc Ambinder:
Ken Hoagland, communications director Americans for Fair Taxation, denies that the group is on its death bed. ?Those rumors are false. We went for broke in Iowa and nearly achieved broke,? he says, but the organization is ?quickly recovering.?
Fair Taxers drove turnout for Huckabee at the August straw poll. Maybe he has enough strength to get through without them.
