On the topic of America’s infrastructure woes, government spending idiocy, and the Minnesota bridge collapse, this pretty much sums it up:

Minnesota Twins postpone groundbreaking for new $1.1 billion stadium due to I35 bridge collapse. Apparently up until this week they didn’t have any more pressing construction projects on which to spend that money.

This is why is I do not what to hear squat about North Carolina’s pressing infrastructure needs. Not after having put about $750 million worth of “destination location” spending in Uptown alone in the past few years.

As our sewers back up and our bridges collapse don’t anyone dare act surprised. Our government “leaders” have selected that option for us.
