Although the federal-led search of an Uptown construction site appears to have completely flummoxed the Uptown paper it should not surprise that the feds got involved. Recall it was the FBI-led Safe Streets Task Force that took down a chunk of the Hidden Valley Kings last fall.
Then we had the fed-led raid on dangerous “gang” members who had been cut loose by the state courts — repeatedly — just the other day. In fact, ask yourself if it is likely that those arrests “developed” new info regarding the Fleischmann case. Sadly, it should not surprise us that the new info did not pan out, as jammed up felons will say about anything in hopes of getting a better deal.
But it is always worth listening and checking out what they might say.
