Efforts to cap carbon dioxide emissions amount to a back-door attempt to consolidate government control over Americans’ energy use.

That’s the message Roy Cordato delivered during the Raleigh portion of a multicity Americans For Prosperity Hot Air Tour event. Cordato joined AFP North Carolina state director Dallas Woodhouse and Heartland Institute special correspondent Paul Chesser in discussing the climate summit in Copenhagen.

More than 75 people joined the discussion in Raleigh, which followed Internet feeds of presentations in Copenhagen and Philadelphia.
