Roy, what a great find! That’s the charlatan-behind-the-curtain-of-Oz gaffe of the year! It’s just entirely too beautiful, on down to the use of my new favorite word, “Armageddonist” (which blows “truthiness” out of the ever-lovin’ sea).

Plus, it’s right in line with what we’ve already recognized from the global-warming alarmists: flat-out bull-moose humdingers of overblown rhetoric that are laugh-out-loud absurd. Recent examples:

? Al Gore’s recent justification of the “armageddonist” rhetoric: “it is appropriate to have an over-representation of factual presentations on how dangerous it is.”

? chicken tickin’ time bombs

? “… in about 10 years the planet may reach a “tipping point” and begin a slide toward destruction of our civilization and most of the other species on this planet. … There is no other view that can be defended.”

? “head-sized mosquitoes”

? “an extinction curve”

? Beachside communities will have to pull back as far as 40 miles and sport fishing could be decimated.”

? Recent alarmist movies, such as “The Day After Tomorrow,” “Category Seven” and others.

? And of course, Gore’s movie poster, the ne plus ultra of global-warming alarmist malarkey:
