Lefty group think took a big hit tonight at the Duke game. Duke’s Environmental Sustainability office urged students to wear green t-shirts at the Duke game tonight to show support for something called Focus the Nation. Cameron looked, well, like Notre Dame with all the Crazies wearing their “Bleed Blue, Live Green” propaganda shirts.

They put up with it for a half, but with Duke down by 9 at the break the students had had enough. They began taking off their shirts and throwing them out on the floor. I was surprised to see the people sitting in my section applaud the kids’ throwing off the yoke of political correctness. Don’t expect to see Duke wearing green any time soon. After ditching the enviro rags Duke outscored N.C. State something like 56 to 25 in the second half.

On his post-game radio show Coach Mike Krzyzewski said: “I understand the worldwide implications, but let’s get back to wearing blue.” Good for him. This aborted collective effort with a political agenda is exactly what Evan Maloney’s “Indoctrinate U” exposes. In future, the left-wing administrators at Duke should keep the bias in the classroom and off the basketball court.

UPDATE: I’m not the only one:

Is it just me, or do others feel that Cameron is a place for watching BASKETBALL games, and not making “statements”. Its not that I hate the environment, far from it, but I go to Cameron to support the team, not the “green movement”.
