Former UNC Chancellor Moeser: “If I could be God, I would dismantle the NCAA”

UNC Chancellor Emeritus James Moeser says the time has come for federal intervention to change the way the NCAA operates.

“If I could be God, I would dismantle the NCAA,” says Moeser. “This is a train that is at some point going to run off the tracks. I don’t think it is a sustainable model.”

Moeser will discuss the challenges facing the college athletics landscape and reflect on his time as UNC’s Chancellor in a wide-ranging interview with Jim Heavner on Thursday evening.
