Amidst accusations of racism within the Forsyth County Department of Health, director Dr. Tim Monroe says he will resign in January.
The Winston-Salem Journal editorialized, saying that although Monroe “has long been a lightning rod,” he “has pushed hard to improve the health of the county’s residents.”
