The High Point City Council member’s house has been seized by Guilford County sheriff’s deputies and will be auctioned off to pay the $32,000 he following judgment in a civil rights he and hos brother filed against the city 10 years ago.
But –in case you wondered — the city “says the sale of his house will not affect whether Foster Douglas can continue to serve on the City Council.” Kinda like Mayor Bernita Sims’ indictment will affect whether or not she can continue to serve.
