When asked if there was anything in the economic stimulus bill that she supported, Rep. Virginia Foxx said:

“Not that I can recall.”*

Foxx notes that local governments want to use federal money to fund projects “that they can’t justify to their taxpayers.” Yep, got that right here in Greensboro, where the City Council wants to add War Memorial Auditorium to its fed wish list after voters rejected a $50 million bond in November.
