It’s hip to propose free health care. Democratic gubernatorial candidate Richard Moore is taking a page from the national Democratic front-runners when he recently proposed a $120 million plan to cover North Carolina’s 250,000 uninsured children. Roy Cordato‘s response to this feel-good, do-bad policy was that “there’s lots of ways to make it easier and less costly to help people get insurance.”  A little zinger that the AP liked.
