That’s a key argument for increased government transparency, the key theme of the latest round of the John Locke Foundation’s Carolina Freedom Club meetings.

State lawmakers have plenty of work to do in boosting transparency, as Becki Gray, JLF Vice President for Outreach, explains in the video clip below.

The John Locke Foundation is promoting increased government transparency at the state and local level through the NCTransparency.com website. Joseph Coletti, Director of Health and Fiscal Policy Studies, also suggests some other steps lawmakers could take to shine more sunlight on their work.
