I think my nominee will win hands down:

Sometimes when we touch the honesty’s too much.

It doesn’t get much sappier than that. It’s from Dan Hill’s “Sometimes When We Touch” from the “Longer Fuse” album in 1978, which was, incredibly, nominated for a Grammy.
