Mitch, I absolutely agree that there’s not enough Velvet Underground on the radio. To your suggestion that stations play “Sweet Jane” and “Rock and Roll,” I would add that they should also play “Oh, Sweet Nothin'” and “Herion.”

There should be more Violent Femmes, James, and Morissey.

Also, Bob Dylan is shamefully neglected. The only thing they ever play of his seems to be “Rainy Day Women,” which is amongst his least impressive numbers.
