Alan Teitleman alerts us to some strange output by the Mecklenburg County Board of Elections.
In sum, too many absentee ballots are showing up in the final tallies. In addition, Teitleman notes that every candidate has an absentee-by-mail total that is an even number. He surmises that somehow that category has been doubled for every candidate and has asked Michael Dickerson for a meeting to find out what happened.
Should be interesting.
Update: Same thing happened in Wake County. All is reportedly well now, but it still gives you pause.
