It’s either Shuler or light rail; I haven’t decided, yet. One of them is clearly more ridiculous than the other. In Charlotte, news that the Charlotte City Council may have been hoodwinked when the light-rail project’s budget jumped to new heights really had me smiling. It got me thinking about what JLF‘s Charlotte blogger, Jeff Taylor, might have called the whole light-rail project when he appeared on the Keith Larson Show. Maybe, the Choo-Choo Ballyhoo: Who’s Driving this Money Train? Now, that’s funny. But then there’s Heath Shuler, who’s running against incumbent Charles Taylor. There are a lot of interesting connections between Heath Shuler and Washington, DC – a lesson learned, thanks to Paul Chesser and the American Spectator blog. Man, what a toss up.
