Gas pipeline disruptions due to Hurricane Katrina have contributed to higher prices at the pump and some rather breathless media commentary–some of it devoid of accurate data and economics. Earlier this week, Roy Cordato talked to WWNC-AM talk show host Matt Mittan and his Asheville listeners about the economics of gas price hikes. In addition, The Providence Journal has plans to publish Cordato’s column about the history of gas prices.
