Columnist Mark Steyn recently was misquoted by The New York Times, which took its sweet time in making a correction. Meanwhile, hundreds of journalistic outfits worldwide picked up the Times‘s version and ran it, including the News & Record in Greensboro. That prompted this from Steyn:

Limbaugh’s radio show last week that the president is attempting to
create a cult of personality. Steyn went on to compare Obama with Iraqi
despot Saddam Hussein and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il.
