Oh my stars, how could I have left off my Monday roundup the news that Greensboro is pondering —-drum roll please —–a downtown trolley.
Again, I don’t see the article online, and yesterday’s print edition has already been hauled off by the recycling truck. Operating on memory, GDOT is only polling residents, and director Adam Fischer at least acknowledged that a tight budget year would make any expansion of services difficult.
Whatever. You can probably guess how I feel, but in the name of civility I’ll just express my exasperation at yet another example of municipal government groupthink.
