The N&R catches up with the Rhino on the looming battle between Guilford County Schools and the City of High Point over water and sewer for a proposed airport-area high school.
The N&R reports that High Point will not provide water and sewer to a potential site until they get more information from the school system.
Interesting that in this morning’s print edition, school board member Garth Hebert —whose district includes parts of High Point —– said he didn’t expect such a reaction from High Point officials. Seems to me High Point’s always been careful to protect its own interests —– and I’m not saying that’s necessarily a bad thing.
