You know him as the first American president, the winning Revolutionary War general, the “Father of Our Country,” or at least the guy whose face appears on the quarter and dollar bill.

You should know more about George Washington the great leader. That’s the argument Mark McNeilly, adjunct professor of marketing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, puts forward in his book George Washington and the Art of Business: Leadership Lessons From the First Commander-In-Chief. McNeilly shared some of his thoughts about Washington during a presentation today to the John Locke Foundation’s Shaftesbury Society.
