Last year the General Assembly in Georgia passed a bill allowing for vouchers to follow students with special needs to private schools across the state. This ?win-win? program helps with over crowed conditions, and also allows parents to make the ultimate decision where their child?s educational needs can best be served.
Today?s Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on the increase of families applying for this option. More that 5,000 families have applied, up 52 percent from last month.
