The N&R reports that yet another Skybus exec jumps:

Bud Sittig, the airline’s vice president of operations, has announced he’s quitting, saying he’s “out of step” with the actions of the young low-cost carrier.

Sittig, one of the company’s founders, said he would stay until a replacement is found.

“It is a difficult time to leave … in view of the many challenges facing this airline,” Sittig said in an e-mail to Skybus pilots. “However, I found myself out of step on a number of issues impacting the day-to-day execution of the airline operation …. When one is out of step, there are two choices: get in step or step aside.”
