The North Carolina chapter of Americans for Prosperity is circulating some online petitions that may be of interest. One is a request for a state-level defense of what has become known as the federal “individual mandate” in what Rush Limbaugh referred to today as the “monstrosity.” In old-timey lingo, it asks that at least in one instance the federal government be made to abide by the Constitution and keep its grubby laws off your body.

Another is a request to tell legislators you support the state-level Balanced Budget Act of 2011. In layman’s terms, you would be asking the legislature and governor to cut superfluous expenditures before raising taxes. Cliquez ici for these and other petitions.
