DA Pete Gilchrist has fired Assistant DA Sean Smith — evidently for speaking to FOX Charlotte about CMPD directing drivers to a specific driver’s school. To top it off, Smith says Gilchrist was not happy with his campaign for Mecklenburg County district judge.
