A certain new drink has a lot of alcohol in it.

Attorney General Roy Cooper wants labels on 23.5-ounce cans of Four Loko to say the drink equals the amount of alcohol in four, 12-ounce beers.

There are likely two reasons. One is that people cannot do enough basic math to calculate alcohol content from proofs. The other is that heavy drinkers have a proclivity to read all data carefully and weigh and consider it before taking each studied swig.
